One contract is one agreement sent for signature, however many files are in the pack, however many pages, and however many signers, approvers or CCs it has. A contract counts at the moment you press send. Drafts, templates and contract links themselves do not count; each signing through a link, and each row in a bulk batch, is one contract. The free allowance of 3 resets on the first of each calendar month (UTC) and does not roll over.

Pro and Team have no monthly cap and no per-contract charge. The limits that exist are technical: 25 MB and 200 pages per file, 100 contracts per bulk batch, and API rate limits. Fair use means using AiresDocs for your own business's agreements; reselling the service, sending unsolicited mail or automated abuse is not fair use and the terms say so. We will contact you before acting on anything that looks like that.

Yes. Start a 30-day trial of Pro or Team from Settings → Billing, once per account. You do not need a card. If you have not added one when the trial ends, your account goes back to Free and nothing is charged; if you have, the first payment is taken that day. We email you three days before it ends either way. Your contracts, certificates and templates stay in your account whatever you decide.

Yes. Settings → Billing opens the Stripe billing portal; "Cancel plan" is one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and then drops to Free. Finished contracts stay available to download, templates beyond the free allowance are kept but locked, and you can export everything as a ZIP at any time. No retention offers, no phone call.

Prices are shown including UK VAT where it applies. Stripe calculates the tax for your billing address at checkout and the invoice states it separately. VAT-registered businesses outside the UK can enter their VAT number and the reverse-charge rules may apply, in which case the invoice shows the net amount.

Pro is £99 a year against £144 paid monthly, a saving of about 31%. Team is £249 a year against £348, about 28%. Switch between monthly and yearly in the billing portal whenever you like.

Correct. Team is £29 a month or £249 a year for the account, with up to 10 people on it. Add or remove colleagues without the price changing. If you need more than 10 people, contact us.

SMS one-time codes (£0.10 each) and government ID checks (£1.50 each) rely on connected providers (Twilio and Stripe Identity). We switch them on for your account when you ask so that you make a deliberate choice about sending phone numbers and identity documents to those providers, which are listed on the security page. Team includes 25 SMS codes and 5 ID checks a month; beyond that, and on other plans, they are pay as you go and itemised on your invoice.

Pounds sterling, US dollars ($15 or $120 a year for Pro; $36 or $299 for Team) and euros (€14 or €115; €34 or €279). Checkout is handled by Stripe and accepts major cards and the local payment methods Stripe offers in your country. We never see or store card details.

Yes. Every payment produces a VAT invoice with your business name and address, emailed to you and kept in the billing portal, where you can also update the details that appear on it.

Nothing is deleted. Contracts already sent continue to completion, finished contracts and certificates stay downloadable, and the audit trail stays intact. New contracts are subject to the Free limits. If a payment fails, Stripe retries and emails you before anything changes.

If something has gone wrong, email support within 14 days of a charge and we will put it right or refund the payment. Your statutory rights are not affected.
