Templates & contract links
Set up your standard agreement once. Send it for years.
A template turns your tenancy agreement, offer letter or terms of business into a two-click send: pick the template, type the names and emails, done. A contract link goes one step further and lets people come to you and sign without you sending anything at all.
- Roles instead of names
- Shared with the team
- Public links and QR codes
Two clicks instead of twenty minutes
Everything about the agreement is already decided. You add names and email addresses and press send.
Every client gets the same terms
One template, one wording, one field layout. No more hunting for the latest version in someone's inbox.
Sign-ups that run themselves
Registration forms, terms of business, waivers and consent forms signed from a link or QR code while you get on with the day.
Still your call
Limit a link's uses and lifetime, require an access code, and approve each signed contract before it completes.
Your standard agreements, ready to send
A template stores the files, fields, roles, defaults and rules. Create one from scratch or from any contract you have already sent.
- Roles, not names
- "Tenant 1", "Tenant 2", "Guarantor", "Landlord". Each role carries its order, identity method and fields. When you use the template you fill in who the people are this time.
- Defaults that save thought
- Subject, message, reminder schedule and expiry are set on the template. Lock the fields that must not move so nobody drags a signature box off the clause.
- Anchors survive new versions
- Fields anchored to text such as "Signed by the Tenant" re-place themselves when you upload a revised agreement, so updating your template after a legal review takes minutes.
- Folders and sharing
- Organise templates in folders. On Team, share them so everyone sends the same approved wording. Team and branding.
Let people come to you and sign Pro
Publish a template as a link or QR code. Anyone who opens it enters their details, signs, and you are notified. Each use is a separate contract with its own certificate.
- Where they work
- Client terms on your website, a registration form at reception, a consent form on a poster, a waiver in a booking confirmation, a supplier onboarding form in your email signature.
- Limits you set
- Maximum uses, an expiry date and an access code shared with the people who should have it. Disable a link at any time.
- An approval step
- Require your review before a link-created contract completes, so you can check who signed and countersign only when you are satisfied.
- The same proof
- Link-created contracts get the same sealed file, certificate and public verification as anything you send by hand. Identity and security.
When one template needs to reach a whole list Pro
Templates power bulk send: upload a spreadsheet of names, emails and field values and each row becomes its own contract.
- Rent reviews, policy updates, annual renewals
- One template, one spreadsheet, one batch, a certificate per person. How bulk send works.
- From your own systems
- Create contracts from a template through the API when a deal closes or a tenant is approved. Integrations and API.

Anything missing? The help page has more, or email support and a person will reply within one business day.
What does a template store?
The files, the field layout, the recipient roles ("Tenant", "Landlord") with their order and identity method, the default subject and message, reminder and expiry defaults, locked fields you do not want changed, and the folder it lives in. "Use template" asks only for the names and emails of each role.
Can I turn a contract I already sent into a template?
Yes. Any sent contract can become a template with its fields and recipients turned into roles. It is the fastest way to build your library: send once, then save.
What is a contract link?
A public web address (and QR code) for a template. Anyone who opens it enters their details, signs, and you are notified. Use it on your website, in an email signature, on a poster or at a counter. Each use creates a separate contract with its own certificate.
How do I stop a contract link being abused?
Set a maximum number of uses, an expiry date and an access code, and require your approval before the contract completes so you can check who signed before countersigning. Disable the link at any time; contracts already created are unaffected.
Can my team share templates?
On Team, yes. Mark a template as shared and every member can use it; folders keep a large library tidy. Templates record who created and last changed them.
How many templates can I have?
Free accounts can keep 3 templates. Pro and Team have no limit. Using a template to send a contract counts as one contract, like any other.
