AI assistant
Signers who understand what they are signing sign sooner
Most delays are not refusals; they are people who are not sure what clause 9 means and put the email aside. On request, AiresDocs adds a plain-English summary and a place to ask questions on the signing page, clearly labelled, with the agreement itself untouched.
- Available on request
- Labelled AI-generated, not legal advice
- The agreement is never altered
Fewer agreements left unread
A three-line summary at the top tells the signer what they are agreeing to before they scroll through twelve pages.
Fewer "quick questions" to you
"Is there a non-compete?" is answered from the agreement text on the spot, so the signer does not email you and wait.
Nothing sent until you say so
Off by default. Enabled for your account on request and then turned on per contract. No contract text leaves AiresDocs otherwise.
Honest about what it is
Every summary and answer is labelled AI-generated and not legal advice. The signed file is unchanged.
The agreement in three plain sentences, above the agreement On request
When you turn it on for a contract, the signing page shows a short summary generated from the agreement text: what is being agreed, for how long, for how much, and how it ends.
- Generated once, stored with the contract
- The summary is produced when the contract is sent and kept so every signer sees the same wording.
- Labelled, always
- "AI-generated, not legal advice" sits directly on the panel. Signers are encouraged to read the agreement itself.
- Yours to review
- You see the summary on the contract page before signers do and can switch it off for that contract.
Answers from the agreement, not from the internet On request
A signer types a question; the answer is produced from the contract text alone and points to the clause it came from. Nothing is answered that the agreement does not say.
- Grounded in the text
- The model is given the agreement and the question, and asked to answer only from the agreement. If the agreement is silent, it says so.
- Not stored
- Questions and answers are for the signer's session; they are not kept and do not appear on the certificate.
A deliberate decision, made by you
The assistant depends on a connected AI provider. It is enabled for your account on request, turned on per contract, and disclosed on the security page as a sub-processor that applies only when enabled.
- What is sent
- The contract text, extracted in the signer's browser, and the signer's question. No signatures, no field values, no personal data beyond what the agreement itself contains.
- Your assessment
- Because contract text may contain personal data, decide for your own business whether to enable it. Our GDPR guide explains the controller and processor roles.
- Untouched signing
- The fields, the routing, the seal, the certificate and the verification page are exactly the same with the assistant on or off. Identity and security.

Anything missing? The help page has more, or email support and a person will reply within one business day.
Is the AI assistant switched on by default?
No. It is available on request: you ask, we enable it for your account, and then you turn it on per contract. Until you do, no contract text is sent to an AI provider.
What does the signer see?
A short plain-English summary of the agreement and a box to ask questions about it, both clearly labelled "AI-generated, not legal advice". The signer can ignore it entirely; the agreement itself is unchanged.
What is sent to the AI provider and what is kept?
The text of the contract (extracted in the signer's browser) and the signer's question are sent to the provider to produce the summary or answer. The summary is stored with the contract; questions and answers are not kept beyond the session. The provider is listed as a sub-processor on the security page and applies only when the feature is enabled.
Can the AI change the contract or the signature?
No. It reads; it never writes. Fields, routing, the seal and the certificate are untouched. The summary is not part of the signed file unless you choose to include it as a supplementary note.
Is the summary legal advice?
No, and it says so on screen. It is an aid to understanding, in the same way a colleague might explain a clause. For anything that matters, signers should read the agreement and take advice.
Why "on request" rather than just on?
Because sending contract text to a third party is a decision you should make deliberately, with your own data-protection assessment, and because the feature depends on a connected provider. We would rather you ask than find it on by surprise.
Ask us to switch it on for your account
Email support from your account and we will enable the assistant, explain exactly what is sent where, and show you the labelling signers will see.
